Susap, guimbarde de Papouasie

Instrument en bambou de Papouasie Nouvelle guinée. La technique de jeu est très particulière : la main gauche vient frapper la languette au point précis qui la met en vibration. La cordelette comporte un noeud qui sert de repère pour trouver ce point. Surprenant, déroutant au début, mais des sensations très sympa !
Je fabrique aussi des répliques de ce genre d'instrument, car ils sont difficiles à trouver

One of the best jaw harp solos I've heard on youtube yet. Also the largest jaw harp I've seen. What is it made of? Are you pulling a string with a tassel on the end? Where did you get it?

This is made of bamboo, and the end of the string has been turned into a kind of tassel... The harp got no string when I got it. I found some on ebay a few years ago, but no every one was good sounding like this one.

J'aime beaucoup le son de cette guimbarde, je le trouve doux et reposant, il va falloir que je pense a m'en procurer une ^^, sinon j'aime beauoup ce que tu joues aussi
