@kaabigeiron no it is not illegal to make these. I've done this at least 15 times around other soldiers and higher ups. Its a great learning experience.

white powder could be Sodium .. when exposed to water, it creates an EXOTHERMIC reaction .. reaction which throws out heat.

@KaabiiGeiron they are marines. why would they have military equipment all around them? They have canteens, a lot of MREs (not easy to come by in the civilian world), and all the equipment in the background. And they obviously know what CS gas is. All members in the military have to go through it. Not to mention sticking these packets in water is a well known prank. nothing explosive about it. it's just expanding gas. Just saying!

I dont have any Meal, Ready-to-Eat packets. Can I use oatmeal? LOL

These guys aren't marines btw... Also, even if they were, they wouldn't be posting this on youtube unless they wanted to get discharged. Making M.R.E. bombs or any type of homemade bombs is illegal.

Okay... 'A little powder'? really? If you're going to try and act like military personnel, then know what you're talking about. It's not JUST powder. It's defective gunpowder lol 'A little powder' could range from powdered sugar to limestone that's been broken down to powder form.
I didn't know they let marines in who have Parkinson's disease.
