Wow, I haven't seen the movie yet but even in this trailer it has some veeeery authentic footage. I am from this generation and even the trailer looks like it is telling the story of that generation - no lies, no purposeful exaggerations, no taking sides - just the way it was.

The funny thing is, we (so called democratic world) think we are free, but in fact , we're just as controlled, brainwashed and used as these people were. We're just thought to thing differently. We're all just slaves of out governments, as soon as we're born, we just become a name and a number trained to make money for government. Why is school free? Because govermnents are nice and they let us educate outselves? NO! They need us educated because that way we make more money for them.

I have to see this movie. I've been always interested on Russian culture and how politics affected/affect them greatly on almost everything they do. Really interesting film.

@redeem72 hahahahahahahahaah... funny. specially considering that in China people is dying and that in russia too... mostly because tehy just don't have government support.. russia is governed by the same guy for like, the las decade, adn China is a dictatorship: the point is that it's different; russia and china suck, as well as america sucks too. just that in different ways.

This is an excellent movie. Also, the comparison between Soviet Russia and the current United States is unavoidable.

funny how things change over night...russia and eastern block went from communism to the so called free market (free market yeah right), and look at america it went from a free country to a fascist state especially in the last 10 years ever since that wait for it....dreadful day (CAN YOU SPOT THE PROPAGANDA??), currently america is the new fourth reich, comparatively russia & china are looking real good, not that their govts are angels, but atleast their govts are not hijacked by the bankers
