Dark Shadows ~ "Modred's Lullaby"

This is a song I was listening to after watching a great deal too much DS, LOL, and all of a sudden, as I was listening to the words, I thought of all the back stabbing that goes on in that big ol' house, and how much it reflects back on other people, like Angelique vs. Barnabas, Carolyn vs. her father, Maggie vs. Josette, and so on. Please say you like it? :)

Brilliant & Classic images on DARK SHADOWS. Love the show as a child growing up in the mid 60's-70's and it brings back great memories of that time. Looking forward to the 2012 new movie on DARK SHADOWS lets hope Depp & Co stay to the Heart chill storyline of the Classic DARK SHADOWS.

@monkeygirl8297 Oh I know the movie is in the works, Johnny Depp is cast as Barabas, as for the others, can't say, the seriers that was done in the 90's was pretty good, can't understand why it didn't stay on TV for no longer than it did, strange.....

I would love a modern Dark Shadows series (if the movie never ends up happening). As long as they didn't veer too far off course and kept to the same storylines, characters, and atmosphere (with a revamp of the original score) then I think it could have the potential to be absolutely amazing.

Of course, they did try this back in 2003. I think they made the first 3 episodes and then it never got picked up.

I personally think that due to the cancellation of so many soaps, they need to bring DS back and updated for todays viewing audience, the ratings would go thru the roof !! Don't you think this is a great idea, think of the casting try outs !!

Actually they were considering turning DS into a musical a few years back. I would have loved it since I adore DS and am a musical geek. Rupert Holmes (Winner of the Tony for his Mystery of Edwin Drood) was going to be involved with the project. :( That would have totally rocked!
