I do agree LD relies on refs to bail him out too much. That said, he really is accosted way too much, especially when he's in the box. He just needs to get more physical back, get an arm out to push off. There are some pretty bad tackles going on in general in MLS, though.

are they talking about that?? man in thise summer heats. oohh boy. I never lived in phonix but visited in a november and it was like 70 and when I came back to the city I live in it was like 31 dgrees.. I dont know how it is in the summer( dry heat is what they say) but I guess it would be really cool later in the MLS season. hey good luck with getting a team in PHX.

yes but he hardly plays. when i was injured last year and the backup keeper played a few games, when i came back i was a bit rusty. when you don't play much, you shouldn't be expected to play well when you do get your first opportunity. but even though he did have the mistake, he's a very solid keeper. otherwise why would he have been drafted with the number 3 pick in '05 or whenever. i saw him play at UK and played with him a few times, he's very good, and deserves the chance.

Thats a good idea.  He's messed up pretty bad and almost single handedly ruined the salt lake game.

Andy did get chipped from about half last year though.

PUT IN ANDY GRUENEBAUM! I've been saying this for 3 years now. Will Hesmer sucks! Apart from the fact that losing Sigi Schmid was a blow for us, our keeper is trash as well, these are two big reasons we haven't started the season well. PUT IN THE HEBREW HAMMER! ANDYYY!!
