Women Singing Praises in Burned out Church in Jos, Nigeria

This church in the Rikkos area of Jos was burned in the riots of 2008, along with many houses of the members. A few weeks later, these now-homeless women gathered here in the burned-out building. Each one was to receive a single wrapper-dress as a form of relief assistance. In this video, they spontaneously begin singing praises to God despite their sufferings. What they're singing, in English and Hausa, is "I must go with Jesus anywhere, no matter the roughness of the road." (Closed caption [cc button on player] shows the words.)

The church was burned again in the religious riots of January 2010.
