  • i'd subscribe but this guy never provides much closure to his proposed questions - by that I mean actual answers

  • moviedude22 - look at the second link in the video description. It takes you to the forum where you will get lots of information.

These youtube videos are just a small part of the big picture. The forum has a massive amount of information in it. If you want more information, that is where you should go.

  • @max465t Thx man i appreciate it take it ez

  • @lovelyshadeofred let me apologize for my comment (in case you don't remember it was me calling this guy a fag). i was a stupid 12 year old with nothing good to say.

  • Boil it then filter it through a piece of cloth....your hat, your shirt, anything...

Although I would filter it through my shirt and forget boiling...the sign of tadpoles means its fairly safe to drink...mosquito larva wont kill you, and chances are it doesnt have any seriously harmful bacteria in it

  • no if it is a small stagnanat pool of water there is a good chance that there is msquitoe eggs in it so no it is not safe to drink, you've got to boil it!!

  • I would take off one of my dirty sock and suck the water threw it as a filter

  • Yes it's stagnant water. And the bare minimum you'd have to do is get the water to a temperature of at least 185 degrees fahrenheit or just get it to boil (212 degrees fahrenheit at sea level) . Unless you don't mind drinking boiled mosquito larvae, I would also recommend passing it through a filter.

  • Depends on what you have. Something I mentioned on your other video...

If I had a Katadyn Survivor 35, I can simply pump from that standing water and it'll filter out toxins, chemical contaminants, bacteria and viruses, etc

Boiling would do nothing to remove dissolved mercury and pesticides from that water, but reverse osmosis desalination would remove everything except water.

  • Not safe as it is.. Standing water breeds bacteria. It would have to be filtered, then boiled before it would be safe to drink..

  • if there are tadpoles in the water you could drink it if you had to. but if i would treat it i would get a straw put crushed up charcoal in it and put cloth on both sides of the straw and drink oud of one side. the charcoal will absorb all the toxins while the cloth will block all big particles.
