Before my dear friend TJ passed away I got the opportunity to follow Little Feat for several years. I distinctly remember standing backstage right next to Richie watching him work (might have been Rad Gumbo). I got mesmerized by Richie's playing and saw first-hand just how amazing and versatile a drummer he was. he will be sorely missed.
