. . .and proceeded immediately to the dance floor. Since she was First Lady everyone politely gave her some space to dance, . . what with all her body guards. She was dripping with sapphires and diamonds everyone was stupefied. She danced . . swirling . .when the lacer lights hit her jewels she was like a swirling cassiopeia in the night sky. . .

During the Marshall Law years here in the Philippines, discos were the rage. There is a chic disco called Louie Y's , atop the Hyatt hotel in Roxas Blvd. This laser filled disco was frequented by politicians and Manila socialites. On one rare occasion, I was there with a friend at around 2:00 am.. the place was packed since it was holiday season, . .many foreigners too. We were at the dance floor dancing to this song, all of a sudden Imelda Marcos arrived and proceeded immediately . .

i absolutely love this. i had heard the no doubt version first, and when i heard this, i loved it even more. it gives no doubt's version context. the crazy take on a music video is melancholy, i like it
