Minneapolis' Black Friday Forecast - Weatherstar XL - 11/27/2009

This video is dedicated to Chazz, mostly because the underlying video is his, but as soon as I saw his Thanksgiving Travel Forecast, and noticed it ran under the proper timecodes, I had to respond with an XL video back for thanks! Just an FYI, the Regional Forecast is for 5am, when all those early-bird store shoppers are afoot! Heres a little insider info, the leader in the front I had to use to make sure I had enough timing to trigger the station ID, then the LF. I started this project around 9pm, and finished a little after the displayed time in the LF. (Alot of setup work involved so all data is provided, blame the RF product!)

@theweatherchazz Im glad that you like this! I have been meaning to do this for you for awhile. There are a few ideas I would like to create for this holiday season in regard to the XL, but I dont think that I will have enough time and the creativity to do exactly what I'm trying to do. After I uploaded this, I took the scenic route around my area to get breakfast and noticed wayy to many people on the road at 5am, plus all the shoppers infront of stores. IMO, I think its easier shopping online!

What really gets me is that you even used the same little "Toys for Tots" crawl that I've used the last few years... its just SO COOL!

The crazy thing is that I was up at this hour. I had to run my spouse to Macy's at the Mall of America at 3:45 am. The stores along the Bloomington 494 corridor here were COMPLETELY nuts this morning. I honked and waved at all the pour souls in line at the Best Buy. Got a few waves back... a few other gestures back that aren't worth repeating. lol
