Open battlefield outside Irendas Penal Colony. Sniping from a guard tower, killing striders, taking some big hits. Note that I'm using a lower-level rocket-launcher; I have over 5000 ammo for it, so I pretty much never have to worry about running out; ammo for my higher level ones is much more expensive.

hey peoples,i havnt played the game yet,but it looks like the best game iv ever seen.and i was wondering if u can do things like jump on top of one of those big things that flys in a 1:57 and start bloing the crap out of it.so in other words,can you interact with npcs of do you go right through them.

Unfortunately, the Bane dropships are not targetable (but fortunately, neither are AFS dropships). I don't know if it would be possible to jump on one, as I've never see one spawn where that would be possible. But if the AFS dropship at, err, can't remember what base it is (haven't played for a few months) sitting right on the pad is any indication, they're probably not solid so you'd go right through them (they're effectively just a 3D transporter animation).

Other NPCs are different however...an AFS mech, for example, will push you out of the way if you get in front of it; others vary.

if they were a tanks,planes,and choppers u could ride then boy this is will be fun!shame theres no vehicles yet

Ya...vehicles of various sorts (probably class-specific) will be available eventually...but apparently they're still far from being ready for implementation (according to the post I read tonight anyway...there may be interviews on TenTonHammer or elsewhere that give more up-to-date info on the PAUs).

No, it's not a sniper (was commando at the time, now a grenadier), but it is sniping (picking off enemies at long range).

Correction: you're being a Marksman since you are using the semi auto rifle; I use Electric Rifle= funny when they get electrocuted

I play mostly on Cassiopeia, but I also have a character on the euro server, for those rare times when the US servers are down. My chars on Cassi are a 31 grenadier, 30 guardian, 24 ranger, 20 ranger, 21 sapper, and 15 biotech; name's Abrahms (named after the M1A2 Abrahms). Char on the euro server is a 13 soldier named Ogami.
