Keep those games complete! Or just buy the games as loose carts if they are dirt cheap, don't listen to me. :)

Hello finn, i want to ask a very important question at least for me. As a pc gamer collector, i have very tight badget to keep buying games, I have to choose what the most important games to buy, which is to buy new games (in this era 2000-2011) or vintage games like below 2000. I know the badget for classic games must spend a lot of money and its hard to play them (you know, old games for old pc). Which one must i grab it first?

  • @fathys1987 If you're on a budget, I'd say get the bare minimum of new games as they come out and then pick out the cheapest of the classics. There are tons of great old PC games that are just a few bucks each.

Finn,i want to ask about originality of each game that you collect. I heard you would't collect platinum series or greatest hits version of games. Is that was categories in "reprint games"?

Did you know Ubisoft was released director cut version of first Assassin Creed, Is that was categories in "reprint games"?

I'm sorry, i have to know what the best to become games collector in terms of originality.

  • @fathys1987 Well, everyone makes their own categories. I don't dislike reprints as long as they look good on the outside: I don't shun a GOTY or Director's Cut just because they are not the first printing. Mainly I just dislike the deviant packaging Platinum/Greatest Hits/Ubisoft Classics etc. have, so I don't get any of those.

  • I feel kinda of stupid now with my collection. I really don't collect anything in the box, I just try to get the carts and such in good condition. Is it worth it to "start over" my collection or should I keep collecting how I am?

  • @xAtomikTech Hey, whatever works for you. But if you feel kind of "incomplete" now, then maybe you should at least buy every game CIB from now on?

  • Not every SNES game came out with the plastic protector

  • I really those what they're doing now with replacing all the good durable game cases with extremely shitty and shatterable recycled plastic cases with huge holes in them.

Does your country have those too?

  • Sorry for triple post, its bug on my ipod. -__-
