why is the music really out of sync? the cars seem to be making noise at the right time but its playing the slows when he is doing the sidestep.

I find your video very interesting.
The title "A Morris Dancer Should Never Appear to Touch the Ground" is really helpful to understand the scene. The camera at the other side of the road filming the whole enviroment; traffic included is Fantastic!! as a complete architecture of time.
Sound is clear.
Mix of dualities; danger and fragile help to keep the tension. that could be music vs noise. human body vs savage cars, and the eye speed's perception recognizing living movement, the human.

Not the old Malings pottery factory but the old Harker's furniture factory in Byker, Newcastle, temporary home to Waygood while the city centre site is redeveloped. The project Matt's work on the poster is part of is called Harker Herald.
