I think it's just a really small crowd. So it sounds quiet.
Most shows you see on youtube have at least couple hundred people ib the crowd, so even if only a third of people laugh, it's still loud.
Anyway, I know it's bad, but I nearly pissed myself when he was pointing to the funeral homes.

The crowd isnt brutal... They arent miked.
The very fact you can hear people laughing when there NOT miked is impressive.
This crowd is being very responsive, you can hear laughs in all the right places, you just dont get the rip roaring speaker busting matierial you get on a show that isnt filmed on a crappy camcorder.
