  • Unfortunately the HD copy of this video seems to be corrupt. It just shows the first frame then stops.

  • I agree, awesome quality dude :)

  • I like the way you said "it records up to 22 hours of recording time" and also made it sound like a logical sentence.

  • @omeizy

I have the EXACT same problem. I also use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, but when I try to connect the camera, it says that the camera is offline. If you figure out how to fix it, please write back. :(

  • I wish people would stop saying "FULL HD 1080!!!!" Please, just call it 1080i, it really makes it less frustrating when looking at cameras...

The Sony m2ts video files may be easily placed at one external USB HDD disk folder and played directly on TV via WD HD Video Player like a slide show.

In case I want to produce a video I use Adobe Premiere Elements (even old version 4 coming together with my Sony FW laptop) and I have NO problems with Sony HDR SR12 m2ts video files. The result video output from Adobe Premiere Elements in MPEG format may be played by WD HD Video Player or uploaded to youtube. Checkup my HD videos.

  • Use some free software called any video convertor to convert into an mpeg 4 that adobe premiere will recognize then you can change the setting so that it will be full hd

  • i edit my footage with adobe premiere pro cs3 but it doesn't recognize the HD video format sony puts it in so i had to burn my footage to dvds then rip the footage from the dvds to put the video in any format i want , and the video still looks very clear...i wish it was an easier way to edit with the software i have but this will have to do for now

  • Delete and repost please. The HD version doesn't work. Thx.

P.S.: I also own this camcorder.

  • This is in mpeg2?

  • and I'll get mine in 20 days ^^

It's a very good cam. Loudness is really not the matter since sony fixed that problem with the new model.

  • The motor loudness has been fixed in the new models of the HDR - SR11. You should get you camcorder fixed if you hear the motor.

I bought my during Febuary of 2009.
