These people are real flesh and blood people. Daughters, sons, fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and the list goes on. Remember them and honor them so that in some way they will go on, so that all may know the sacrifices they made for all. God bless our Troops.

IMy grandfather fought in WW1, My dad is a three war veteran, WWII (paratrooper), Vietnam and Korea. He spent his life in the Army and still carries the scars from WWII. My mother was a WAC during WWII. I was an Army wife and my son was in the Army.

Thank God for soldiers like you. part of me wanted to be one, to defend my country, but circumstances in my life made that impossible. Nrich1 - You speak as if Chris feared Death, who said Chris was dead? This is what Chris said about Death:
"You know, the guys over there cannot understand it. I can lay my head right over on the window of the Humvee and go sound asleep. They didn't understand how I could do that. It's because I have the peace of God in my heart and that if I do get killed here, that's not the end of my life." -Cpl Chris Mason Sept 2006-
Chris's sword was the Gospel, he can never die,can you say the same?
