Dont understand why no one has said eny thing about cleaning the fuel system from the injectors to the pump etc ??? Im a high perfomance engine builder and to me that could quit simply fix your problem

snds like an intake manifold gasket leak. prob won't set the check engine light off, but it will screw with the fuel delivery and the power and hesitation issue.

@Unclem360 It was a coil pack. They were a bitch to get to so hopefully the other two don't go bad anytime soon.

Sounds like bad plugs and ignition coils

Haha, problem was solved. Thanks.

stick a potato in each exhaust pipe, and if there is no difference, it's clogged.

ignition wires....... my did the same + detonation ...once i change the wires and now is like a baby..........it would idle fine in p or n but it woul idle rough on d and it would hesitate till i reach 33 miles per hour + you feel preasure on de gas pedal...so change your ignition wires but first check them to see if they are ok......

rotten egg smell should accompany bad cat

@jayguy173 Actually the cat rusted off the exhaust pipe last week. I looked through it and it visibly looked just like new so I got it welded back up. The car is much quieter and there isn't a bad smell.
