Besides her talent, Maria Kallas was one the most romantical women of the twentieth century. She always had to express her need to love and to be loved in return.
People know just her divine and incredible talent...but that is obvious.
What people didn't know is that she was a woman who liked to look increedibly beautiful and to get a man who would love her immensely for all her loife.
And this movie focuses on that...not on her music.
She was first a woman...Divas have feelings too.

Non si chiama canzone (non è lady gaga), le "canzoni" dell'opera si chiamano "Arie". Questa è tratta dal Primo Atto della Carmen di Bizet ( non è un atto, come dice sopranolirico) e si chiama Habanera.

This actress looks more like Harriett Wahrsagher, my old friend from Buffalo who was a playwright, than Maria Meneghini Kalegoropoulou Callas (almost Onassis). It looks really stupid and banal, like most of what is said about her in film or press. Just silly rubbish. Listening to the Habanera makes Maria Callas seem like she never left us; watching that makes me think those actors are the dead ones!
