Amiga Misc [005] Genetic Species

I havn't really played this game much before, just tried it a bit. So I Started the game up and tried to finish the first level, but couldn't :).

I play a bit in fullscreen at 1:27 but didn't like it. I prefer to play in the low resolution, it's more cosy :).

It seems you're having trouble finishing this level because you need to "jump" into other characters, in order to use their unique abilities.

@MrExperior Not to mention Half-Life came out the same year. Even so, keeping in mind the limitations of the system, this game looks absolutely amazing. Remember, Duke Nukem 3D came out only two years prior to this, and Blood the year after that, so I'd argue that this is one marvellous-looking game even for its age.

@harrihorse Are you serious? Genetic Species were released in 1998, and by then you had hardware accellerated games like Unreal on the PC.

Wow! thats very nice for an amiga fps.

@douglaw1983, back in the day it was normal for amiga fps games to be played with a very small screen size because the graphics hardware was kinda lacking when it came to this sort of shit... didn't stop programmers trying though!
