Hicks of Craven

A short video set to "the streets of Bakersfield" by Dwight Yoakam and Buck Owens.

This was a one day trip that was taken at the end of May 2008. I show here some clear cut evidence that I might be turning into a hick. I also on this video caught some footage of the most amazing wildlife that I have ever seen in Saskatchewan.

Also Note:

While preparing for the trip we forgot to bring drinking glasses for Rum and so we cut open empty beer cans to drink out of. At the same time realized that we forgot soft drink mix. So, we tried drinking rum mixed with power-aid energy drink which was awful. We ended up going to the store later (which was within walking distance) and bought Pepsi and foam cups.

We also forgot a can opener so we had to open the can of beans using a pair of pliers. I thought this might help others in the same spot if you were ever stranded without proper accoutrements.
