When you get a chance to talk to Hank Shocklee, you don't pass up the opportunity to hear all about the pioneering era of hip hop production. And the stories Hank told us didn't disappoint! In fact, they were so good that we saved them for a separate "Deleted Scenes" video. Rap music fans and music fans alike will enjoy hearing about some of the pivotal moments in the development of hip hop's sound.

  • @geeman856 I heard him describe pause tape and I was like whoa! I would sit in my room all night and morning making those tapes..... I even used "This is a test from the emergency broadcast system" Mixxtrumentals!!!!
