When you get a chance to talk to Hank Shocklee, you don't pass up the opportunity to hear all about the pioneering era of hip hop production. And the stories Hank told us didn't disappoint! In fact, they were so good that we saved them for a separate "Deleted Scenes" video. @geeman856 I heard him describe pause tape and I was like whoa! I would sit in my room all night and morning making those tapes..... I even used "This is a test from the emergency broadcast system" Mixxtrumentals!!!!

We he mention the pause tape yooo that was me back in the day wen i didnt have the money for studio i made my beats using the pause button.. Release. Pause. Release and so on and so on... Chopped it up too
