Limited purpose banking my arse!!!! Gambling on the GDP or the bankruptcy of publicly-traded companies should be illegal. Wall street banksters can and do manipulate all of this derivative crap. The SEC needs to enforce securities laws and the FBI needs to put the CROOKS in prison. The FDIC needs to shut down bankrupt banks and insurance companies and sell of any remaining assets to legitimate banks.

I liked his book "The Coming Generational Storm" however his other works seemed to not follow the predictions he called for at all. Marketed mutual funds, 401K's and so on. He doesn't seem to get that using the system to fix the system is impossible. That and based on his above listed book, none of those ideas are going to work in the first place.

I don't think this guys part of the problem. He's a bean counter and unfortunately bean counting is not EXCITING. But it is an important aspect to dealing with our economy.
