I did a Google search on 6DOF and was surprised to find your video here. Very interesting Stewart Platform, however I notice many people say these Stewart platforms are 6DOF. They are misled. This object only has 1 True DOF. And that is Vertical axis(up). All other functions of movement are dependent on that 'freedom' to move.
Axis:
1DOF - Vertical (True)
2DOF - Pitch (Simulated)
3DOF - Yaw (simulated)
4DOF - Bank (simulated)
Incapable Axis:
5DOF - Foward/Back Axis
6DOF - Horizontal Axis
