Procession of the Monks, Luang Prabang, Laos

Every morning at dawn the monks of Luang Prabang's many monasteries walk through the streets with their rice bowls, begging for food. Local people make up baskets of sticky rice and give a handful to each monk. We were able to see and video the procession from the balcony of our guest house, with minimal intrusion.
