Ah..yes..then all the Dr.pepper adfs, not just this or another I found using cute "Hairspray" eras girls, used this..and I agree on sixties versus seventies. IMO the innocence of sixties teens was cheapned by Filmation and Hanna Barbera toons like Scooby Doo, which made it one dimensional. Looking at early 60s, the ads were not as cheesey like the 70s counterparts (again IMO!) were.
I remember this one. from the 70's, I think. These intermission things lost their style after the 1960's. I much prefer "Let's Go Out To the Lobby" and ones made in the 50's and 60's.
I don't know about the 60's. 70's maybe. I was born in 71, & as a kid, when we went to the drive-in, I can remember many of them.

It's great we can still see and appreciate stuff like this, even though drive-inns are becoming more and more scarce.

I even remember the words:
"Relax refresh, the flavor's fine
It's Dr. Pepper time"
I grew up thinking that the Mills Brothers' "Glow Worm" was a parody of the Dr. Pepper commercial.
