Those are some sweet pickups. Didn't know they finally cracked the ps3, hopefully some homebrew is close by.

@wellesraphael yup, PSJailbreak. It's the only reason I picked up the PS3 lol. I can't believe how easy it's going to be for the end user to run unsigned code. Just plug in the USB device and you're good to go. It's really expensive for the USB mod chip right now but give it a couple of weeks and the Chinese cloners will have a cheap alternative. I'm waiting for the free do it yourself method. A PS3 media center would be sweet.

@clashed13 Thanks! The money I make from fixing consoles goes towards buying more games, retro junk and beer for myself. It's a self sufficient hobby :).

You inspired me, I recently bought a faulty PS3 Slim 160GB for only €20, that is 17 pound. And the only thing that was wrong with it was the blu-ray laser! I'm going to make money of that just like you :D

i bought a xbox 360 with dash bored 2.0.13604.0 that can be reset chipped then jtaged for 30 euro only thing wrong was all the dust on the motherboard

That's just like my DS Lite, but i learned not to lend anything to that kid again... XD

The guy who sold the 360 could of thought it was bad from a power outage, whenever the power has went out my sisters would redlight but after waiting when the power came back on a little bit to make sure it was staying on and booting it up again it will load just fine. So maybe that happened and he didn't test it after, or something?
