@ShoutmeoutD27 Well let's say I am a fan. Xt GT phase III XA GS. XA GT XB GS Panel Van. XB GT Hardtop x 2 . XB GT Sedan. XB GS Sedan. XB GS Ute x 2 XF Panel Van. AU II Ute. AU II Forte Wagon. BA XT Ute. BA XR6T Ute BF Wagon Fairmont. FG XR6 Sedan. I have owned Holdens and Valiants along the way, the scariest car I ever owned was HK 350 Bathurst Monaro, sold it back to the bloke I bought it from, could not stop it or go around corners. Fords out od the box are superior

@bobkats Omg u had an AU? the only AU i liked were the XR models with those cool quad headlights.
You used to own a 351GT? HO?? they are worth a lot these days, ive seen a 351 GTHO go for several hundred.
Ford def have lifted their game indeed, i woulda taken a 6-spd auto over the manual anyday its more livable and u can change gears manuall without a clutch pedal, best of both worlds :)

@ShoutmeoutD27 I have had in the last 10 years 1 x AUll ute 1 x BA XT ute 1 BA XR6T ute and now the FG XR6 Sedan, not having the turbo is a little different but the 6 sp manual is a way different creature. I really like the spread in the 4 gears and you still get acceleration in 5th from 90k's and 6th is amazing a little over 1600 rpm at a 100, this is going to have great economy, and it's fun, not had a manual falcon since my 351 GT days. Ford have really lifter their game

is the better choice, all road tests ppl say the auto is better
Anyways enjoy the FG XR is a great car
I dont think i have seen the new dark grey-edge colour
