I think I came a little bit... I never knew Miyazaki was originally attached to the project! It would have been so epic to see how both versions would have differed. Man, it really is a dream, isn't it?
The TMS logo at the end was one that had in the early 80's and was also seen at the end of the movie on a R2 DVD I have, but the newer logo that appears at the end was made sometime in the late 80's when the film came out.
so the kid dies? ALMOST EVERY ORIGINAL Little Nemo in Slumberland COMIC PAGE ended with Little Nemo suddenly AWAKE ! ...from a DREAM. Thus the NAME of LITTLE NEMO in SLUMBERLAND . Wind Soar McCay ...about a hundred years ago... showed us that LIFE is just a DREAM. You can wake up anytime or still believe in "death" that's up to your post more-time self.
I played the NES game by Capcom first, so when I saw the movie I was expecting him to be feeding candy to giant frogs and walking around wearing them like a suit or riding a purple gecko and climbing up walls. Sadly I was disappointed, lol... still a great movie and a fond childhood memory.
