Halley's Curls Creole Wavy
2 packs of 12"
http://www.halleyscurls.com/store/page41.html

The lovely ladies of Youtube that inspire me

mzeasha2: the first person I ever saw doing the invisible part. I saw this years ago but thought it was not possible for me b/c I don't put glue in my hair.

XXTheIslandBeautyXX: I saw her make a wig with a U-shape top and my wheels started turning on how I could do this without leaving any of my natural hair exposed.

mschanda: Gives great tips on how to position the wefts and did a lot of step by step videos. I studied her videos!

thomasadrianna: Great invisible part videos. She also did multiple videos which helped me learn how to position the wefts to create the part.

icunvme2005: Awesome at what she does. She shared braiding patterns as well as she was the first person I saw sewing the wefts. As soon as I saw her sew in the invisible part with curly hair, I gained confidence that I could do it.

I hope you all can hear b/c the volume is at 150%

I put sealant on the underside of the wig base to make sure the material does not fray. It can cause the part to become stiff and not lay down as flat so be careful. Aleene's acrylic sealant (matte) was easier for me to find in the craft store vs. the much recommended Patricia Nimock's.

Cap: Dream Deluxe Weaving Cap 0157 with adjustable straps in the back

I would recommend sealing your wefts before doing this style to reduce shedding.

You can also sew the wig to your natural (braided) hair if you'd like.

  • Hey girl... I was wondering with this method if i decided to straighten my curly hair if it will still look good...Did u try? please let me know.

    Thanks much

  • @Frannystatus I don't straighten hair with a curl pattern this tight nor would I suggest it but many people do when they don't want to by separate hair and want versatility.

  • This is great what kind of cap did you say that was again and where can I buy it, last time I made a wig when I was done it was too small for my head what did you to do to prevent this?

  • @grAAny01 Check the description box for the cap details. I got mine from the BSS. Stretching the cap with T-pins while its on the mani head or looking at the size of the caps you purchase can help with the shrinking.

  • Awsome!! I am just learning. How long did it take you to get this good??

  • @prettygirl80601 It took me about three tries to feel confident about every aspect of the invisible part but I have been doing my own hair for years. I've been working with wefts for around 12 years and that came in handy when learning how to do the invisible part.
