@KensanOni It diverged from the get-go when Macek mashed 2 completely unrelated series onto Macross to make Robotech, way before Sentinels. from there, the Japanese don't want the same treatment for the newer series ( since M.Plus was brought over ) and HG insists they have exclusive rights for any further US distribution with shoehorning anything they get to fit their Robotech products. Since they won't pay attention to the fans on this, I hope HG goes out of business soon to free things up.

@LockonDylandy Not a chance. The Robotech Universe has diverged from the Macross Universe back when they started brainstorming Sentinels. Unfortunately, the whole Harmony Gold thing is going to forever delay it's release in the US... unless I missed something when I wasn't looking.
