GLAM CAMP Teaser

GLAM CAMP: Girls Learning About Multimedia Camp. A multimedia/technology camp for girls between the ages of 14-17. This camp was held at Denver Open Media from August 4th-9th, 2008. During the camp, girls had the opportunity to interview women from Denver about multimedia and technology while learning how to produce their own videos. Through these guest presenters, the girls were able to network with other women in Denver and learn about a variety of ways to interact with multimedia. We invited professors, artists, graphic designers and a variety of other women to inspire these girls. This camp also served to break down the gender divide in technology by teaching girls at a young age to use cameras, lights, audio and editing equipment.
