I wake the morning sun, gold as the ring that I wore Back when we woke as one, on a distant shore... (She doesn't sing the following) There life is blooming now, close by the wide oceans roar If I could buy wings I'd fly to that distant shore When you think of me, sing a heart-spun song When it's over, sing it once more When you dream of me, dream when I'll meet you On that distant shore (See part 2)

Part two:
Love sleeping in my arms, eyes like your father before
Born to have your father's need for a distant shore
When you think of me, sing a wide-open song
When it's over, sing it once more
When you dream of me, dream when I'll meet you
On that distant shore
Life is a stormy sea, hearts can be tattered and torn
I still believe peace can be found, on that distant shore

i want to learn this song... She has such a beautiful voice... I LOVE HER!!!!!

Fabulously beautiful voice and the harp is such an elegant instrument. When you hear her sing one can almost feel they are back in Ireland or Scotland a couple of hundred years ago. Great singer and song. Thanks for this post.

@MrGrifflet That would be amazing! But she is busy with her new solo tour

Orla is just plain lovely. She has this certain aura of elegance and grace. Plus, her voice holds a mystery. It allows me to see a world which only the mind can wander . She really is amazing and beautiful.

She does it really good on her own, it is surprising. She has a good manager.
