Well I made a new sheath for the coldsteel srk & this one was done up Gavkoo style. Now I don't know if this is "exclusively" his design, but let's say I was inspired by some of the sheaths he's made.

http://www.grizzly-outdoors.com/ is another great place to go if you want to just order one, but I posted this to hopefully inspire a couple of you out there to tackle this job yourself. You can do it!

Thanks for watching & take care

  • You did such an amazing job on this sheath that it looks like production. Really great work bother!

  • @Patriot36 Thanks buddy, it's fun for me to have guys like yourself to show it off to. The wife just isn't impressed : )

  • Man you are getting good with Kydex my friend! I really need to get off of my lazy butt and order some Kydex. I have a few knives that I like but hate the sheaths. I really enjoy seeing your "How To" vids as well as just seeing a video on the end result. Again that is a professional looking sheath. Take care brother.

  • @SnowLobo95 Lobo in the house! I appreciate that brother, now get off your lazy butt : )

  • Camp, that is one good looking sheath. Seriously looks like you purchased it. Really nice job putting it together.

  • @Cr0cket20 Whatever keeps me off the streets : ) Thanks brother

  • Great knife. I have had literally every knife in the spectrum size wise that is comparable to the the SRK and still keep one in the truck (old Carbon V) and one on the belt when I go out hiking. The other knives like the ESEE 5 and Scrapyard stuff is great and pricey but the weight and nimbleness in hand of the SRK outclass them. Your sheath is nice, well made too. I just put a tek lok on the factory plastic and it serves just fine.

  • Great knife and great sheath. Good work, buddy. I can definitely see the value in having two sheaths for the same knife, especially using them as you do,

  • @USNERDOC No problem & it's truly my pleasure. You know I enjoy this "forum" & the sharing of info. Had it not been for your encouragement early on I probably would not have continued on. Thanks again my friend.

  • @hinckleypoland Yep, his channel is fairly new to me, & we've exchanged some great messages recently. Good guy for sure. He's right up there with you : ) Thanks for the complement brother.
