Hi gameduct. Good review. I never played this first one, I played avp2. What is the best game you have played to this day?

Tough question. But what I always keep coming back to must be Max Payne. It got it all. Good story, good graphics, great animations, great voice acting and the atmosphere ever, dark, gritty and some cyberpunk.

Couldnt be more disagree. The original had actors, the gold version had...amateurs? Or was it the Rebellion crew?

I'm pretty sure you mixed them up. In the original version it's a guy standing in front of a green sheet, speaking without any enthusiasm or energy in his voice. In the gold version there are special effects, energy, shouting, ACTING, and the guy is wearing much more belivable marine gear and clothing.

Did you watch my review? The guy talking to you there are from 1999 original version. And I have played the gold version too. So how can you think I mix it up? There is a reason I reviewed original version instead of Gold version. And no matter what you say I still think the Gold version has CRAPPY actors. Dont care huw much they shout or how much energy they have. It looks and sound stupid and francly I get embarassed when I see it. Maybe you should see some more movies?

@gameduct Well, it is a one-time download with constant updates if they are needed. IMO, it is worth the trouble to download.

You will now be able to play AvP 2000 Classic (Basically just a fixed version of Gold Edition) with the original American actors from the original 1999 version.

@gameduct You can watch the original actors from the 1999 version of AvP on the Steam 2000 Classic edition. All you have to do is:

1 - Rename the folder called FMV located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\a­liens versus predator classic to FMV_old and cut and paste it somewhere safe.

2 - Then put the original 1999 AvP disc in (the data disc not the music disc) and locate the FMV folder on the disc and copy and paste it to the location mentioned above.
