Fair enough. I just didn't see Linklater's style on Dazed at all. I'll take Slacker over it any day.

it's just this generic "cut-out" effect that came with my camera software.

@hitman7112 its imagery to keep its audience, but in my opinion it would be no less intriguing had the visual effects been stripped. As for the alleged pretension, the film never claims that these ideas are unique creations of either actors or the director. Its simply commentary. No information is new, and that should be obvious to most by now, how else would we learn and grow.

@hitman7112 boo, booooo, im boing you, how can you compare the two merely by the animation type, as far as plot and story go they are completly different. I am aware of how pointless typing this is becasue you posted this a year ago and all but still. I enjoyed both movies a lot btw

Actually Waking Life and A scanner darkly are not that similar, I prefer Waking Life. A Scanner Darkly really wasnt that good, it was almost like a cheap imitation of Waking Life. Good review 5/5
