Christian Parents Beat Their Daugther to Death for God

CNN's Gary Tuchman reported a fundamentalist Christian couple who killed their 7-year-old adopted daughter while practicing a violent form of discipline.

They reportedly beat their nine children regularly because they thought God wanted them to. Both parents were jailed after pleading guilty to the crime and the surviving children are now in foster homes.

if these parents had not pleaded guilty, I would have asked for the death penalty for them. They really deserve life in prison, not the 22 and 12 years they have gotten. As it is, because the girl was African American, and a child, both of these so called parents might have a hell awaiting them if some of the other prisoners find out.

Christianity is a sickness. Those mutants that wrote the book don't see their own hypocrisy when asked what they'd do to a child who hit his sister and they reply that "he would get 10 or 15 licks and it would be a formal thing, in other words, you maintain your patient air, you explain to him that WHAT HE'S DONE IS VIOLENT and that that's not acceptable in society ... or in our home"...Religious programming has left them so blind they can't even comprehend what they're really saying and doing.

A many ppl have such negativity towards religion like these ppl represent it...I think not...these ppl practicesnpushes them more into cult instead of religion I am not here to pick a fight or argue back and forth as I see a lot have done but I will say my God is a wonderful and merciful God...this was not what I am taught nor interpret from the bible....
