**FREE PATTERN AT THE WEBSITE!**

This project requires very little sewing experience. If you can do a basic whip-stitch and know how to cut fabric and use an iron, you can do this! This is a great gift idea and you can use up those old fabric scraps, trims and beads. The best thing about it, is that you can customize the box to any occasion!

This video is a supplement to the pattern and instructions for the project, which are available at Cyberseams here: http://cyberseams.com/article/104986/holidays/make_a_fabric_gift_box.html

**Please take care in using the iron!**

  • Why can't you attach the fabric before you fold the box?

  • I found it was better to score the fold before attaching the fabric. I suppose you could do it either way though.

  • am totally disagree wid d IRON thingy...

y do u nid to use d tape and iron it?? y not use oder alternatives such as double sided tape or other things to attach it 2 d odr surface...

    am disagree wid burning/heating cellophanes....

  • I used iron-on tape because it seems to hold the fabric the best. Double-sided tape would work well for a paper cover. I'm not sure why you refer to cellophane though - I didn't use any on this project; only iron-on fusible web and fabric.
