So, I've been a rabid Doctor Who fan for all of two months (Yes, yes, shame on me for not falling in love with it sooner) and *I* get annoyed when they call the character Doctor Who. It's the Doctor. Just ... THE DOCTOR. Get it right, please! XD

@dented42 Actually, no. He was Doctor Who in the credits for a while until the 70s, I believe, when he was switched to The Doctor. Then, in 2005, he was Doctor Who again, but in TCI, he was The Doctor again.

Matt and Patrick are my favourite Doctors, they're just great, but I have to say that Christopher Eccleston was the man who was good enough to bring the Who back so hat's off to him and to David for making it big.

Why did people keep saying Matt had big boots to fill?. Really pisses me off that. Its not a matter of Matt filling David or Pertwee or Hartnels boots. If Pat had done that [just filled Hartnels boots] the the show wouldent b here today. Its about out with the old in with the new. David or Hartnel go [bye bye] and Matt or Pat come in and do something new. not about filling anyones boots. those presenters dont know what there talking about.

@TheMarkRCS it is generally thought that at this point he is lying about his age. in his 2nd regeneration he was 250, 4th he was 600 i believe and in his 6th, 7th and tenth regeneration he has claimed to be 900.
