Hi Dirk!

This was full staging show. But, nevermind they didn't forget the context to the plot of the story. The scene, where the "old Wizemann Gils" are, where shown before. So don't worry, it was done quiet beautiful.... :-)

was this a concert version or an actual full staging ? If it was a full staging they have missed out on the point that this takes place in a ruined theatre of former glory and not on a glitzy MGM set ! german kitsh very much in evidence here...

Unfortunatle the singer is too yoing. They are all supposed to be reliving their youth and he should be in his late 50s, 60s.
