Very interesting, That's a great system you have there, Technology has arrived in the Pigeon world, It wasn't that long ago,When you had to run with the rubber to a main clock, Usually situated in a village shop, eg The Butcher, As for the cleaning out, Does it not create dust, Considering it lays there for up to a year ?. Thanks for sharing.

@Pigeon55 Yes, the technology is truly amazing for the Sport and we have come along ways for sure. Looking for to GPS tracking of the birds in races in the near future! That will be fun. Actually, I don't get much dust. I worried about that, but there is even less dust than when I had wood floors. I think my ventilation helps.

Under the expanded metal, looks like 2" X 6" on ends? What is underneath that catchs the droppings? Plywood?
