Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili says he is committed to strengthening democracy after the country's fifth presidential election. After the violent dispersal of peaceful protesters and the silencing of the opposition media last year, a state of emergency was declared and early presidential elections were called to resolve the crisis. Incumbent president Mikhail Saakashvili was declared the winner after the first turn, getting more than 53% of the vote. But, according to observers from the Council of Europe, the ballot was marked by significant shortcomings and electoral violations and the opposition is contesting the result.

  • Go Sakartvelo!!!

  • Кстате они вполне могли и провести интервью на русском языке, прикольно как оба человека стараются говорить с как можно мешьшим акцентом на английском языке в то время как в голове прокручивают те же фразы на русском и грузинском языках =))

  • Mr.Saakashvili is a greet man and we love and respect him. He's candidate for the NOBEL PRIZE. He's a HERO ! MR.SAAKASHVILI IS THE BEST RESIDENT IN THE WORLD.

  • What a liar
