I never do. Better lows if you let the floor reenforce the lows. Also, having speakers up in the air and stand legs all around looks ugly. When I need alot of sound, I'll throw two bass bins below and put the Mackies on top poles, but for 90% of my gigs, this gives the best sound and appearance.

I forget the name as I bought them a while ago. I think they are from a company called LTS, but I could be wrong.
