Probert liked to get his jersey off. It's one of the reasons he did so well in fights before tie-downs were mandatory...not that he did too bad when tie-downs were mandatory.

@Redwingsfanforlife Seems to me a pussy wouldnt rig his jersey to come off. They're supposed to be tied down so that nobody has an advantage. I know Probert was a tough guy from what everyone says, but why is his jersey always coming off? It's the same with that Rob Ray character. They lose their jersey and their opponent has nothing to hold onto, and then they win. It doesnt impress me as much as when they fight straight up and no adbantage.

@Redwingsfanforlife Spoken like someone who's never been in a hockey fight. That sweater comes off and all the sudden you are at a HUGE disadvantage. That's how Probert whipped Churla's ass the first time, nothing to hold onto, can't tie up the arms, your balance is affect because the other guy can push and pull your upper body yet you can't stabilize yourself. Besides it was the end of the fight. Not to take anything away from Probert, but losing the jersey was ahuge part of his fight game.
