My cover of Death and All His Friends from Viva La Vida (one of the gems on the new album IMO). It ain't perfect but after 8 takes this is as good as it's gonna get! (at least for now)

  • Thanks for your comments and feedback, everyone!

  • Thanks for the comments and messages, everyone. I don't have the sheet music, but am trying to transcribe it (it's been a while since i've transcribed any music, and it's a little harder to do than I thought).

In the meantime, what would you all rather see next?:

    (a) a tutorial of both hands of "Death and All his Friends" together with some narration of what to do, the nuances etc.

    or

    (b) a video of Lovers in Japan (another one of my favourites)

  • Wow! You did an awesome job!

I saw them live in Las Vegas and was blown away! Great song!

  • Thanks! They swung nearby here (at Pemberton) but I missed them :( - hopefully they'll be doing a double-leg tour with some repeats!

  • very good man. all the nots are perfect , only suggestion would be ease up. it's pop song so when the chorus yells play it louder and shorter. i can see that you play a little classical to, but just realx on this song. great job

  • you're amazing!!! wish I could play like that

  • I loved how you ended it. It was different from the other covers I've heard.

  • Well done. You missed a part in the middle, another"so come over..." But job well done. Keep giving the world music.

  • it's just so lovely

  • awesome job, cool how you played a little bit of Fix You at the end

  • awesome

  • Amazing!

  • I agree with copter1. To make it sound perfect you have to play 7/4 from 2.60 and all the way after that. Otherwise it's an excellent job!

  • did you make fix you a bit higher.. at the end ?
