Our founding fathers meant for us to have a limited shackled federal government so that we the people can enjoy the freedoms and rights endowed upon us by our creators. It was so limited in scope the power of government that the Constitution and Declaration can easily fit in my pocket.. Try doing that with the US Code or your state laws or city laws even..

  • @helltrackrider Humans are not born free as you seem to define freedom, we are born in the control of our Parents until they abandon us or we become self sufficient. Also without a governing body, there would be nothing to keep other people from simply slaughtering you and raping your family and getting away with it. It is because people and government have strayed away from the constitution that we have become this society we have today.

  • @helltrackrider Again, there is nothing in the constitution that says you will be removed from society by exercising your right to protest government. The only thing it says is that you cannot step on the rights of another person to do that.

I do believe the Constitution legitimizes the "laying and collecting of taxes" (as well as Slavery)...

How does this "give you freedoms"?...your claim is hypocritical to the Consitution.

By default; humans are free - free from Laws, rulers and restraint...how a human lives his/her life depends on the length of their life...live it as an asshole; it will be short - rightfully so...live it virtuously and with peace - odds are with you for a long life.

  • @virgil432

Human Nature makes it impossible for Anarchy?...Seriously; this is your argument of "why" Anarchy cannot exist?

As if "justice" is being served right now...I am robbed EVERYDAY for being peaceful and voluntary...some fucking Justice.

Fact is...Human Nature is the REASON Government exist - this part being FEAR; fear of kidnap and death for "acting out of line" with the human livestock owners that call themselves "Government"

  • @helltrackrider Again there is nothing in the constitution that says anyone will come get you for the individual life style you live for yourself, Its present federal law that we now have the NDAA provisions which are unconstitutional. Human Nature makes it impossible for Anarchy to exist. The Constitution is by all accounts the greatest experiment in marrying freedom of people and government together. Without some laws you would have no justice for being victims of others

  • @virgil432

    Not confusing anything.

The Constitution outlines boundaries and claims those within the boundary as its citizenry; I am subject to every Law created as a result of this mythical "citizenry" claim forced upon me.

Have I willingly submitted myself to any Laws?...No; they are forced down my throat and if i opt to ignore them - I am kidnapped.

This is the structure of the Government; all Governments - even a Constitutional one.

Anarchy is the only true Freedom.

  • @helltrackrider I dont know if you are confusing federal laws with the constitution because there is a difference. The Constitution put restrictions on government, not people. Unfortunately what has occured was the amendment granting the collection of income taxes. Much of which the federal government uses against us today did not come from the constitution rather legislative parlimentary procedure that passes laws and puts them in a US Code book rather than the constitution.

  • @virgil432

How can you consider something that was designed to coerce or compel people as being something that "gives freedoms"...

Freedom is the default position; no rulers & no authority = Freedom.

Any document or group of individuals (Government) who claim authority of any other individual is in essence taking, not giving, freedom.

Until people understand the truth; Freedom will never exist.

Ron Paul, nor any other Politician, is about Freedom...it is hypocritical to say so.

  • @helltrackrider The Constitution was by no means a perfect doctrine. However to say that the constitution supported slavery is a bit of a stretch. The Constitution was designed to give people the most freedoms and a limited shackled government. Its not the constitution's fault that people that supported slavery failed to give individuality and rights to the blacks. I wouldn't be caught alive calling the US Constitution a lame document knowing people have died defending it!

  • Not sure why so many people put so much faith and pay so much respect to a piece of paper / set of "rules" which imposes itself upon individuals without the consent of the individual; which supported the legality of slavery - thus claiming slavery is moral; and which also claims that theft is moral (taxes)...

The US Consitution is a lame piece of paper written by people who have absolutely NO direct influence on your life today.

Why not trust yourself and your own judgement?
