In this video King Roc shows his Lemur-Live setup and how to use it.The interface, and Ableton Live set including all audio material from 2 songs are downloadable on Jazzmutant.com
@MrLespaul166 the lemur sends midi signals, so it can theoretically be used to control anything that you can control via midi. with ableton live specifically you can use max to setup the lemur with it. i dont know whether or not you can use logic to dj but you can defiently set up the lemur to control it, u just need to make sure you know how to send midi signals to control logic
@cutterschoicenotmine well the lemur isn't for sale any more so the ipod is easier to get a hold of, but other than that there isn't much difference between this and touchosc, what matters is how you get creative with the design of the software
so, im starting to get it. u record loops onto seprate tracks, run them through your lemur-into monitors (kaoss pad too)? then use apps on the lemur to adjust everything, like level? are the fx preloaded, on the lemur, or does it only control stuff on ur DAW? cause i got logic and i want to know if u can do all this with out the lemur. and are there any cheaper systems like this? i wanna b able to do this, but i have no experience, dont wanna spend tons and not b able to use it
Great stuff. The Ipad, will follow soon, considering the Ipod/Phone's apps like Noise, Aura, mixing apps, etc. Having more controls on one screen than you can have on a mixer makes this stand out. Of course, the Miami South Beach colors don't hurt either. Something has to be done about the background gray color on the mac software..it just doesn't get me going...cubase used to have a hip looking mixer...hey how about a custom Steampunk mixer....
Very nice!

how is the piece of kit doing against the ipad, what are the benefits to this over an ipad?

@MrLespaul166 Yes a Ipad or knobby one Akai APC40.
All effects are from Ableton Live 8.
The lemur is just a touch screen controller for any DAW

Nice work. Did u design this interface? As a lemur designer myself, I can appreciate how much time you mustve spent putting that all together.
