I got this for Christmas and it wasn't exciting me, after coming upon your terrific reviews, I thought I'd see what you had to say. Thank you for clarifying that my tongue was not lying to me. I shall stick to Bushmills for my standard bottle, although I do indeed look forward to exploring deeper flavors as you've mentioned.

Ralphy, it's not the price of the whisky going up...it's the value of the pound going down. Priced in real money (silver and gold), whiskey costs the same today as it did 100 years ago. There's something to mull over a bottle of good stuff. Love your videos, thanks mate.

I think I'm gonna get a bottle of this for my 21st coming up soon. I have mixed with Coke before and still do occasionally if I'm having a bit of a sweet tooth with my urge to tie one on. However I've only done this with Jack. But I prefer most of the time to just drink it straight, sometimes on the rocks. My friends think I'm weird and just trying to be cool when I do that, because they ALWAYS mix spirits with soda and stuff like that.
