So much Lamb of God songs and you pick that one? fuck...
-
Can you actually change the compression of your false chords or does that come with diaphragm control?
-
deep throat :o bahahah

@ApotheosisTK117 what the brother meant was that it makes your voice more raspy. My high pitches used to sound more like Trevor Strnad, and now they're more like All Shall Perish and Randy. Raspy and gritty just how I like em. But my bitchy voice didn't let me do it before so I guess i'm satisfied

@op3crimsin i'm a vocalist and also a heavy smoker. I used to have a 9 second solid scream but after awhile my scream and growl went down to a mere 5 seconds. less lung capacity, same power, and after a while you will not be able to have a clean scream. It will be incredibly raspy, especially high pitched. It will help your lows if you have a little girlie voice like I do. clean scream is like Suicide Silence, raspy scream is more like All Shall Perish

@ApotheosisTK117 That was the exact point I was making...

haha! the deep throat

I can't move my adams apple at all :(
How much does smoking impact the performance and ability to scream, hydrated or not?

@op3crimsin Sorry dude, I really don't know, I don't smoke =x I mean I do know that smoking cigars has no effect on screaming but I'm 99% sure that's not what you were talking about haha

@op3crimsin Listen to some Lamb Of God in answer to your question, Randy Blythe "their singer" is a chain smoker.

@TheresAFireInMyNose That doesn't answer the question at all. I don't smoke anything and yet I can do metal vocals quite well, and apparently Randy is a chain smoker and can do them very well also. Therefore, smoking is not a direct factor.
