How to keep your child safe. This is a green the vaccines rally. What does thimerosal and vaccines have in common? More then you know and it leads to autism. I am a mother of a vaccine injured child. My child had a severe reaction to the DtaP vaccine in particular. Withing 6 hours of her 4 vaccination shots she had blood in her diaper, and was seizing. She was hospitalized and is still recovering at the age of 5 yrs old.

What would you think of parents slamming the car door on their child's hand, then -noticing and complaining that their child's hand is mangled - demand that car manufacturers line the edges of car doors with soft rubber? Why not stop slamming the car door on your child's hand instead?

I think slamming a car door on a child's hand is intentional. These parents are uninformed that is a hugge difference. Now once they know the truth about vaccines I think they are resonsible for their actions. But I must say we cannot be abrasive or combative to the parnts. I believe in educated before you vaccinate -a term i know you do not approve .

Simpsonwood... haven't really heard about it. Some people don't react well to vaccines, but I'd be surprised if they would send that memo out again after a court has actually weighed all the evidence and dismissed it.

The whole anti-vaccination movement is based on pseudo-science, and now that the entire foundation it's based on is pulled away, they mostly default to conspiracy theories. Worst of all, they use the scientific method in reverse: Conclusion, THEN evidence.

What about SImpsonwood? AND for the record my daughter had a reaction to the Dtap. Recently in the past few months the DOD sent the Cdc a memo stating they found on multiple vaccinations that included Dtap that there was a causal link to autism. Just fyi. ~!Angela

Well obviously you've looked it up, but if you'd KEPT up, you'd know that the source of the MMR/Autism vaccine scare originated with the fraudster Andrew Wakefield and his scientifically unsound "experiments". It's called the Wakefield Study. The case went to court and all the evidence was examined. The result was a resounding NO - The facts don't support the speculative conclusion of the Wakefield Study.

A little known fact :- there is a hell of a lot more epilepsy in developed countrys than poor countrys. Why?

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that rich countrys are blanket vaccinated, and poor countrys cannot afford them.

And by you comment its obvious I've looked at a hell of a lot more of the studies than you have, and I can tell you that there are a lot that link mercury with autism. Have you actually looked at the Official U.S. death rate figures? Because if you did you would quite clearly see that vaccines appear to have no positive effect on the death rates at all,

in fact the whooping cough and polio death rates increased.

Tetanus is less as there's now little horse dung in the streets and most people walk where no rusty nails are likely to get stuck in their feet. Also, tetanuse can be prevented by hydrogen peroxide solution wound treatment and cured with antibiotics.

Diseases occur when certain conditions are present. Vaccinations have a negative impact in that they influence the body's internal environment, by either suppressing the immune system, thus preventing measles, or modifying the bacterial flora to the point where e.g. hib is suppressed, but other types of meningitis increase instead.
