you know ,i like insurgency mod better than cod4. but only because it seems more realistic to me. im more into sims than arcade games. but thats my opinion...

Because in real combat you only see what you are shooting at for half a second, instead of some multicolored character with his name flashing over his head.

far from it? this looks a lot like bf2
the view distance is even really low just like bf2 and the hud looks just like it only tilted or something
far from it... pah, it's almost the same game!
although it is more realistic, and has that insurgency gameplay to it, so it's good in that respect

its a modification to half-life 2 / counterstrike source. you need that game to install it and its made by fans kinda like how counterstrike was made from half life

in this case, it's a mod of half life 2. you need the game to play insurgency. Basically, it uses the same engine as Half Life 2 with things modified

Uhh its a HL2 based game. So Is CS:S and HL:DM... that should answer your question.
